MasterClass on Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITS)

The MasterClass on real estate investment trusts is part of a series on retirement planning that looks at the building blocks for income generation.  A REIT is a company that owns and operates income generating properties. REITS can and should play a role in any portfolio that seeks diversified sources of income.   Learn the pros and cons of REIT investing, the types of REITS available, as well as sector opportunities, and risk reward performance compared to more traditional investments like bonds and stocks. Opportunity screening will rely on peer group analysis, REIT valuation, and key metrics. Finally, portfolio analysis will put REITS in a broader context and provide guidance on what allocation to REITS is appropriate. The course also aims to provide insight, training and experience that can be used immediately to grow and protect capital savings.
